SWITCH 6 Week Outdoors Instructor Training Course

This is a residential 6- week course aimed at getting you to a good level of performance in the core outdoor sports offered at most outdoor centres.

You will learn personal physical skills in a variety of outdoor sports, and gain various National Governing Body (NGB) awards. This is the perfect course to open doors into the outdoor industry.

We aim to set you up with a strong foundation of coaching techniques and sport-specific skills upon which you can improve and expand. Along with these skills we will show you the techniques of instructing and leading groups in the outdoors, along with other skills that you need to work in an outdoor centre. Link these all together and you're in the perfect place to gain instructor qualifications and look at a career in the outdoors.

Depending on your ability and performance, by the end of the course you should have achieved: BCU 1 & 2 Star awards, BCU FSRT, UKCC BCU Level 1 Coach, Emergency Outdoor First Aid, and Rock Climbing personal skills.
