Coasteering on the South Coast of Cornwall offers everything from high adrenalin fuelled adventure to sedate and scenic family days out.
Vertical Descents have been operating coasteering in this area since day one, driving our adventure bus up to the area we can meet you at our coasteering locations and offer you a high-quality adventure experience.
There are three possible coasteering locations around South-West Cornwall:
Porthcurno - We operate two different routes which can be tailored to suit the needs of you and your group. The spectacular Minack Theatre area also offers an amazing coasteering route. Featuring everything from caves to whirlpools, big jumps to high climbs, these areas can only be used at high tide.
Rinsey Cove - An amazing stretch of coast, with a great cliffline and some amazing coasteering features. The cliffs themselves ooze the mineral rich lands surrounding them, with copper and iron seeping from the rocks, feeding the marine life and cutting through the rocks, making a magical area to coasteer.
Mullion Cove - An old Cornish fishing village with some amazing features, offering us a fantastic place to coasteer from. Mullion Cove offers coasteering for people from The Lizard, Helston, Falmouth and the Marazion area.
The weather and sea state will determine the best location for the day however we will try and suit the coasteering location to the needs of the group.
Coasteering on the South Coast enables us to offer coasteering to everyone and anyone, whether you're staying on The Lizard, or living in Helston. Based at Falmouth or Penzance we can take you to somewhere amazing for a coasteering session. If you're holidaying in St Just, near Lands End or on Praa Sands, Vertical Descents is the coasteering company for you.
